The association and its projects
The Child and Development Association (KUE) was founded in October 1995in Berlin. Its activity is exclusively aligned on
non-profit duties and our association
is a freelance promoter of youth welfare service recognized under § 75 SGB VIII
Recognition as an independent institution of youth services under § 75 SGB VIII
Recognition as the sending of "weltwärts"
the new development policy of voluntary BMZ.
Recognition as a carrier of an "other service abroad," according to § 14 b paragraph 1 and 3 Community Service Act (ZDG) of BMFSJ.
Recognition for the hours language teaching
We perform mainly employment and qualification measures
for the meaningful supply of socially needy
and disadvantaged children and young people as well as for
supporting socially deprived people in Berlin.
The association gathered extensive experience in the targeted,
directed and efficient management of social and
labour market policies.
- Helping people help themselves through propaganda in particular
to improve in using of organic products and fair trade
with BIO-products.
- Promotion of professional education and care;
the offerings of the company are directed mainly at
people who seek improving their professional situation
by measures for professional education for school
leavers and adults in cooperation with schools,
educational partners and establishments; their focus is always
to the requirements of the subsequent training needs;
this includes close cooperation with commercial enterprises
to take jobs for unemployed people.
In order for this group for better integration into the training
and labour market to achieve the association KUE works for years
consistent with concepts, strategies and components for the acquisition intercultural competence.
We are working closely with our educational partners and training institutions, working fields are:
- Individual advice and coaching of young people
- Offers to professional orientation
- Training for the regional job market in more than 10 professions
- Special projects for professional orientation
- Intercultural projects, school learning
- Training for training- and job-seekers
